I bought a new Gibson F5 G mandolin this spring after many years playing an entry grade Alvarez instrument. This was a tremendous step up for me. Unfortunately, one of our granddaughters who are staying with us, decided to take it out of its case and play it like a guitar while my wife and I were working in our garden.
I brought my 30-year-old Spanish classical guitar to Andrew at Phoenix Fret Works. The instrument had become essentially unplayable due to excessively high string action. Andrew carefully evaluated the guitar and corrected the setup with great precision. The result is remarkable.
Did amazing work on a Fender Jag-stang this week. I’ve since trusted this business with another instrument and plan to drop off a third when #2 is completed. Now that I’ve found Andrew, I’d never roll the dice by hoping for the same quality elsewhere. Side note: probably the coolest dude on Earth.
Brought my acoustic guitar in for bridge removal and repair after it had warped. Andrew made quick work of it and went above and beyond in the repair as well as polishing the guitar, lowering the neck, restringing and more. An amazing deal and very fast to communicate along the process.
