From the reviews
Drove 30 miles one way, to have Rick work on two guitars on Saturday by Wednesday he had them playable and in better shape then my local shop that has been in business since 1984.
Player's Gear is a hidden gem located in the newly renovated Boston Hill Center in downtown Marion, Indiana featuring a fantastic collection of guitars that have been expertly tuned to play and sound great by the owner (Rick Tish). Stop by to see the collection.
Awesome! This guitar store is the perfect phrase of "big things come in small packages". Amazing customer service, with a nice selection of guitars and amps all priced at reasonable prices.
The owner is a laid back and knowledgeable. He does excellent repair work. We always see something new when we visit.
Lessons at Player's Gear
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Player's Gear. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments on hand for exactly this reason.
