I cannot say enough about this place! If you want customer service and personal attention, there is nothing else like it. Big chain pricing with the attention you can only get from a smaller store.
Amazingly welcoming music store. Went in with my mother on a visit from the west coast, not only was there a great selection of different levels of instruments, the staff were amazing. Huge shouts out to Alexi (Alexy? sp?) Awesome conversation and incredibly helpful in picking out some primo guitars.
I picked up a guitar yesterday as a compete rookie with really no idea how to proceed. Luckily, Ponce de Leon Music Center was right in town. As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed by Alexi, Dereck, and the owner, Cathy. They were patient with all my questions, and guided me to everything I needed to get started.
They were the Bomb! Seriously, and took me seriously. So helpful, so knowledgeable, caring, fun. Can not wait to take lessons! Got a beautiful cello and know nothing, they were so nice, set it up for me, gave me a name for lessoons if I wanted. 58 know nothing, and they were amazing.
