So Neil does excellent work for very fair prices and is a legend in the city of Houston's music community. He's an outstanding guitar repair guy and luthier. I have been taking my guitars to him for over 30 years and have never been dissatisfied with the quality of work he provides.
Neil was absolutely fantastic! He spent his time patiently going through iterations of adjusting my guitar until it was just right. He not only did the work I came to him for, but he also changed my strings and spent time cleaning my guitar as well. Finally, the rate he charged was more than reasonable.
Neil Sargent is an amazing luthier. I have taken my guitars to Neil Sargent for years. He does great work in a timely fashion at an affordable price. Hands down one of the top luthiers in town. If you can get your hands on a sergeant guitar that he and his associate designed and built a limited line of. Do it.
Neil is an extremely knowledgeable and talented luthier. Guitar Center's tech had completely botched the set up on my new Martin and a friend suggested I take it to Neil. He set it up perfectly at a very reasonable price!
