I brought Dominic my beloved 25th anniversary Taylor just to see what he thought about it and if he thought there was any work to be done on it. There were some strange playability issues that I didn’t quite know how to assess, even with a background in guitar tech work.
Stop your search. You have found the luthier you’re looking for. Dominic listened intently to my wishes while staying mostly silent. After handing the instrument over to him, he began a series of quick hand inspection techniques and very brief eyeball test that immediately revealed to him the state of my instrument.
Dominic took great care of my guitar that suffered from the infamous Gibson neck break. He was able to patch to the point where it felt good as new (but twice as strong)! Awesome price and quick turn around. Also a stand up guy and had lots of great conversations when I dropped off and picked up the guitar.
