I had a 1981 Gibson Les Paul Custom and also a 1965 Gibson SG Special refinished and Sim’s Custom Painting done an amazing job and was on time. Perfect finish and top quality detailing, as always! Patrick is very professional and very easy to communicate with.
I had originally contacted Patrick because I had a natural colored Suhr Modern Satin that I absolutely loved, but wanted refinished. Obviously with this guitar being in the 2-2400 price range, I was looking for someone who would do the job right the first time, and pay extra attention to detail.
My BC Rich Mockingbird Extreme used to be a stellar Cyan Blue finish, but now it's been remade into a gorgeous metallic gold finish! This is my 2nd guitar that Pat painted for me and the finished work is just as incredible as the first one he did 9 months ago which was for my ESP LTD EC 1000.
I contracted Patrick at Sims Custom Shop to repaint my GJ2, which is an amazing guitar that - unfortunately - looked like a $150 knock-off. Patrick did a phenomenal job painting this (my set-up guy commented that had I not told him, he would have assumed this was a factory paint job).
