“TONS of records, many of which are older and used, but they also have a good amount of new records.”
“I don’t personally own a record player yet, but I can rest easy knowing Phils got my back when I’m ready to build my first setup!”

“the owner was super friendly and helpful from the moment i walked in.”
“Great prices and also a super cool basement arcade setup with a great deal of all you can play for $5.”
From the reviews
I attended the Black Country, New Road listening party and fell in love with this shop. The owner was the nicest/coolest dude I’ve ever met with incredible knowledge and passion for everything records. His wife and the staff working were phenomenal as well! Will only be going here from now.
I was dumbfounded when I found an arcade in the basement, flooded with an endless array of legendary games. The Tekken 5 cabinet for example, has been kept mechanically SOUND by the owner, Phil (I know him on a first name basis because he is just that cool and involved within his store).
Great selection and a super cool store! They had what I was looking for (plenty of CD’s) and I’ll definitely come back for more. Great prices and also a super cool basement arcade setup with a great deal of all you can play for $5. Will definitely comeback with my friends to game here.
This a cool record store with a large variety of material, a friendly help staff and well laid out. Lots of used and plenty of new records. Best secret super power.... opens at 7am on record store day!!!
Selling or trading gear at SolSta Records
SolSta Records comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
