We made the trip from Idaho to Houston to visit friends, but visiting Southpaw guitars was definitely in the plans. What a wonderful place! The staff was very attentive.
If you're a left handed guitarist in Houston you don't know how lucky you are! I had to go down to Texas from Denver and knew I could not be in that state without going to Houston and visiting Southpaw. Truly an amazing place. Such a cool environment with so many left-handed guitars. It's breath-taking for a lefty.
I went to Southpaw Guitars today for the first time. I am a left-handed guitar player. I've seen less than 20 left-handed guitars after 42 years alive. Today I saw more left-handed guitars than I have in my entire life. It was like Heaven on Earth. I played a twelve-string acoustic for the first time in my life.
We drove from the north side of town thinking she would play left-handed because she is left-handed. They helped us figure out that she plays right-handed after all. We received lots of help and guidance while buying everything we needed during our visit. She is ready to begin her journey to learn to play guitar.
