ive had a great experience here. the three times I have ruined my trumpet this year ted brown's repair guy Tim was always reliable, fast, super kind, and very reasonable! the last time, I totaled my bell and one of the spit valves.
I played in high school band, jazz and concert saxophone. Then I put it away for ~12 years. Decided to start up again. Took my sax to another shop for service, spent a lot of money, and felt like they couldn't care less if I was pleased with the work, or if I even played the horn ever again.
We have been coming to TBM for about 5 years now. Their knowledgeable in-house repair expert, Atlas, always comes through for us, and has the patience to explain the repairs as well! Great advice also for the care and maintenance of flutes and piccolos.
Ted Brown is awesome. I had an old clarinet that needed everything replaced and it came back to me looking brand new! The turnaround time was also fantastic! The staff is super friendly and helpful!
