8.20.25 – Stopped by to have my violin bow repaired and ended up purchasing a new wooden bow along with some rosin. Fernando and Alvaro were friendly, attentive, and eager to help both me and another customer at their small, family-owned local music shop.
I was just gifted the most beautiful violin I’ve ever seen by my wonderful partner. My partner is a musician too, and will be helping me learn the instrument, and accompanying me on the guitar for our collab projects.
Went here to sell an epiphone Les Paul standard and an epiphone Joe Pass Emperor. Fernando made a reasonable offer but I had a higher offer elsewhere. I would definitely include them in my places to go when I’m looking to sell the used guitars that I come across.

First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
