From the reviews
Stopped in to get some old gold and silver I found tested, and the staff were awesome. They welcomed me right when I walked in and were super kind and helpful the whole time. They explained what they were doing while testing everything and made it feel easy and low-pressure.
Steve and Chris were absolutely incredible. I brought in a guitar that I was looking to sell to get my son’s medication and they were able to help me with more than their system showed. I’m so grateful and the customer service was amazing, felt like home! Couldn’t recommend more! ☺️
Great staff. I came in was treated well I needed information they were quick to help out!!
Wanted to thank Steve for his solid customer service. I met him prior to the new company taking over and was happy to see him managing the newly owned business. His personable style of working with you makes coming back to the store well worth it.... Thank you Steve!! And thank you too Angel! You're doing a great job!!
Selling or trading gear at Texas Pawn & Jewelry
Texas Pawn & Jewelry comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
