I took drum lessons from John here when I was a kid, back in the late 90's. He was hilarious and awesome at getting timid kid me to come out of my awkward little shell...but his lessons stuck with me my whole life. He lit a fire in me that became my musical obsession for the next 20 years...

I have been taking guitar lessons from Gus at the California drum shop for the last several years. My daughter has been taking lessons from Gus for the last 5 years and my son takes drum lessons from John. The environment at the California Drum Shop is very laid back & fun. The guys teaching really know their stuff.
Hidden gem in Bethlehem for all things percussion and music. Super personal customer service and incredible support for beginners through working professionals. Big box online music stores and chains can't hold a candle to institutions like this one.
