This is 100% the shop for guitar work. I brought my Gibson Les Paul in this month for a fret level/dressing and new bone nut. Hands down thee absolute best set up I’ve ever gotten in my near 20 years of playing guitar. Brian gives your instrument attention so generous that you’d think he was working on his own guitar.
I live in Santa Barbara and have been searching for a great guitar tech. With limited options between here and LA, finding Brian was a stroke of luck. Brian is an exceptional technician who is highly professional and incredibly skilled.
Brian runs a small shop in Downtown Ventura and is genuinely one of the friendliest people you’ll meet. After playing guitar for many years, I had never found a dedicated guitar tech I could consistently rely on.
My 9 yr old son was given a free learning guitar and it needed some love. Brain was great he restrung the guitar and inspected the guitar and told us it was in pretty good shape and perfect for learning. Knowing nothing about guitars, he also showed us how to tune it using our phone app.
