If you are looking for Violin Lessons for your child, I could not speak highly enough of Marissa at The Long Island Violin Shop. My son Holden, who's 6, and homeschooled, out of nowhere expressed interest in learning Violin.
This is a superb violin shop that offers a great selection of quality instruments along with lessons to boot. We started violin lessons with our daughter just shy of her fifth birthday and got set up with Marissa.
We went to many places before finding Marissa at the Violin Shop. Most instructors lacked the personality or teaching ability to relate to and motivate my daughter. In contrast, Marissa has an engaging personality that makes lessons fun.
Accomplished experts but very accommodating overall experience! —————— As I picked up my daughter from 3rd grade one day, she told me that it was the most wonderful afternoon ever - her entire faculty had an assembly at the end of the day and each teacher played a different instrument like a concert.
