“Great place to get instruments serviced/setup!”
“Went here for voice lessons with Izzy for probably 2 years off and on and was able to make great progress.”
From the reviews
This is by far the best music lesson experience I have ever witnessed! Tim is very accommodating and friendly and my boys love seeing his cute black pug. John Varney has taught my 11 year old son more in three months than he learned with his previous teacher in nine months.
The owner, Tim, is one of the friendliest and most awesome guys you'll ever meet. I try to spend my money here rather than at a giant a corporation whenever I can. Went here for voice lessons with Izzy for probably 2 years off and on and was able to make great progress. I've always felt so welcome.
Tim is the best and friendliest people one could ever deal with. I had a couple of Les Paul's with electrical issues. Tim hooked me up and repaired them with little down time from playing. He even customizes a bridge for me without charge because he is the BEST. The Music Box is a Hidden Gem for service and sales.
I have been involved with the music box for almost a year now. The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming. The owners and instructors are always a pleasure. My piano lessons are only a half hour long, but its probably my favorite half hour of the week. So I send a shout out to the music box.
Lessons at The Music Box
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at The Music Box. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
