Great experience - went to buy a new Martin acoustic (have had a D-18 for 50 years). Woman I was working with help me narrow down my choices and found me a quiet room where I sat on a stool for 2 1/2 hours and played as she continued to bring me different guitars.
I had an absolutely outstanding experience purchasing a Martin D-42 from Dan. They had a great selection, great atmosphere and wonderful service. Dan was very knowledgeable about all the guitars there and took the time to show me numerous models and even other brands he thought I would like.
Recently I had a business trip to Framingham, Massachusetts and this was my opportunity to stop in at The Music Emporium. I had been shopping around for a higher-end open back banjo, and based on their web page they had a far better than average offering of some really nice instruments.
I have often had the occasion to shop at the Music Emporium. I bought my first Martin acoustic there more than thirty years ago and I haven’t stopped since. I treasure my conversations with Joe Caruso: "Somehow I just don’t see you in this guitar".
