Texas Violin Shop is truly something special. I originally walked in last year shortly after their soft opening to inquire about renting a violin for my son, and from the very first moment, the experience was exceptional. Samantha, the violin maker and owner, was incredibly warm, kind, and patient.
Over the past two years, Samantha and Estefan Cortez have performed adjustments and repair work on my violins and bows and have assisted me in upgrading my instrument. Their new store location is lovely and bright, reflecting the joy that they bring to their craft.
I can’t recommend The Texas Violin Shop enough! The owners, Samantha and Estefan, are honest, knowledgeable, and truly some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. I live outside of Austin, but I plan to make the drive just to have Samantha work on my cello.
My children have been receiving lessons from Estefan for almost 2 years. My son and daughter’s musical skills have blossomed under Estefan’s expertise and patience. We are always greeted with a friendly smile every time we walk into the shop, and their instrument knowledge is unmatched!
