What's on the wall
“I walked out a very happy customer with an exceptionally rare, hard-to-find piece of history.”
What players say again and again
“They know their stuff, have great prices, and have everything a history, gaming and music nerd could dream of.”
From the reviews
I could spend hours in here, the staff were so lovely and knew what was in their store despite other thrift stores that just shrug at their inventory. They know their stuff, have great prices, and have everything a history, gaming and music nerd could dream of. Will be visiting here every time I’m in Anoka.
This place is so fun and wonderful lots of cool stuff and good prices staff is very nice and helpful. Can’t wait to go back
Been coming here since I was a teen. The prices are pretty reasonable and the staff are cool. I always love visiting.
Really cool place and staff, got a great deal on a desk chair. Also got a deal on a standing lamp being told it works just need 1 of the bulbs replaced. Turns out the entire lamp doesn't work. You can't win every sale you find, otherwise this place is cool.
Selling or trading gear at TimeFrames
TimeFrames comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
