Chris is an absolute legend when it comes to setting up and repairing my guitars. He is insanely talented and has my guitars feeling buttery on stage after every setup.
TL;DR : One of the best setups I've ever had. You will not regret coming here. The service, the quality of work is Excellent and second to none. I usually don't write reviews online. However I felt the need to write about my experience with Chris and his business, because the quality of work was just that EXCEPTIONAL.
Chris was a dream to work with. Scheduling the appointment was easy over text. As someone with a M-F grind and a 1 year old, timing is everything... and he made it easy. Unlike other luthiers in OC, he was able to see me within a couple of days (rather than several weeks) and was very flexible with timing.
I had a small laundry list of issues with my 1996 Fender Jag-Stang I'd been putting off getting addressed. I saw Chris' ad and it turns out he's so local, he lives/works on my block! I got a new nut/string-tree, partial refret, level crown polish, refreshed electronics with a pot upgrade ...
