I own 3 good leather Franklin straps already. So I did not have an issue with buying one online. Was as I expected. A quality strap that will last a lifetime. When my guitars go on to be inherited by my children and there children, those straps will still be with them.

When it comes to selecting a good quality, non-custom (i.e., off-the-shelf) guitar strap in the current marketplace, it seems that the American consumer's choices are limited to roughly three (3) general categories: 1) Highest possible quality, but exceedingly expensive.

I ordered strap…a nice red and white striped leather strap from Franklin. It goes perfect with my John 5 knock off made by Firefly. It’s a white and red guitar and a white and red guitar strap looks freaking great. This strap is nothing but quality-nicely padded and again looks really sharp.

I was in the market for a new strap. I wanted one that was wide (3" or so) and didn't have elements that might ding the nitro finish on my guitar as both metal and hard plastic buckles and adjusters do. I also wanted a strap that could fold up and fit in my guitar case. I took a chance on Franklin and I'm glad I did.
