From the reviews
I often tell people that my son came out of the womb wanting to play guitar. By 2021, at 12 years old, he was trying to teach himself online. He was so passionate that we decided to find a teacher—and that’s when a friend recommended Will Scott at Twin Town Guitars. That introduction changed everything.
Go to Twin Town Guitars! Got exactly what my son needed, at a great price. Here is my experience (Sunday 9.15.24): As a Dad and a non musician my 12 year old son came home last week and declared he and his buddies were forming a "band" and he wanted to play Bass. Great!
The drum and percussion section is a lot smaller than the guitar section, but the employee there was super knowledgeable and their selection of drums, heads, and equipment was surprisingly good.
Great customer service and good knowledge of repairing guitars. They seem to train their staff well. And they most definitely went out of their way to be helpful with my latest purchase. Prices are also very fair. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for instruments, amp, supplies, or repairs.
Lessons at Twin Town Guitars
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Twin Town Guitars. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments on hand for exactly this reason.
