Mike is the best of the best. He has worked on numerous vintage Marshall and Fender amplifiers of mine. His attention to detail is exceptional and he's very meticulous. He has more than once put extra time into my repairs and not charged me what he could have.
So I just wanted to say I brought a early 50s Dickerson/Magnatone amp into Mike based on reviews I read online. Mike made my amp sing like I've never heard an amp sing before. Truly a master of his trade, and a darn good guitar player to boot. Last but not least a heck of a nice guy, With reasonable prices.
Best dude for vintage and esoteric amps and pedals. The dude knows his stuff. Very knowledgeable, super nice and shares a lot of knowledge without condescending to you. I brought in my Marshall Valvestate 65 and he was already aware of the common problem with the reverb tanks in those amps.
The man that owns the business is on point. He knows his stuff. He explained to me that the amp I brought in for repair was a piece of $#ï!. He is correct. He said all these other amps are in front of yours and it will take 4-5 weeks.
