This is a pretty small store. But that’s not a bad thing at all. When you go to one of the local stores 10x the size of this one, you flip endlessly through junk. At Vinyl People records, that stuff isn’t there. And the prices are good. Great owner and staff too who look to take care of the customers. Stop in.
You will not find a more friendly or knowledgeable record store staff anywhere else! Vinyl people has an awesome eclectic selection and it seems like they are always acquiring new collections to fill the store. It may be a small space, but it’s crammed to the ceiling with great vinyl.
Not only is the selection of records here perfectly curated and wonderfully organized, but the staff is a pleasure to talk to and extremely passionate/helpful. I snagged two Death Grips records I thought I’d never find, so by default this might be my favorite store ever.

Selling or trading gear at Vinyl People Records
Vinyl People Records comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
