What's on the wall
“They basically have an endless supply of vinyl, CDs, tapes, and lots of posters or collector items!”
“Also has quite a bit of used vinyl if you’re into classic rock, jazz, or jazz fusion.”
From the reviews
I think I'm going to fall in love with this place. For the year 2026, I have decided that my new hobby will be to build the greatest vinyl collection ever. I needed some Christmas music. So I stopped in to Rock of Ages to give it a look.
This is an awesome place to buy vinyl and any type of music or video media. That’s only the tip of the iceberg. They have so much more in the store that you have to see it to believe it. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about lots of things, and most of the customers give great conversation.
I did not get a full chance to walk around the store. I have vinyl CDs I believe tapes. Patches, buttons, stickers and pins. The staff was great the store had amazing vibes. Would like to go back when I have more time to explore.
awesome spot for some finds youve been searching for, and music related figures too! kind staff, awesome place with so much to look at
Selling or trading gear at Rock of Ages
Rock of Ages comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
