I picked up my first guitar that I had Daniel do a setup on a few hours ago and I couldn’t be happier ! It’s a PRS CU22 and a nice guitar but really needed a professional setup to turn it into a GREAT guitar. And Daniel completely delivered. I’ve been playing it for the last six hours and just smiling.
Xu Strings is very meticulate and precise. He has a great eye for small details in your guitar. He can do virtually anything you want with your guitar, whether it's a setup, coil-splitting, repairs, a custom switch, etc. Rates are very competitive compared to other places, and turnaround time is very quick.
Daniel was absolutely fantastic to deal with! Knowing nothing about Daniel, I was very forward with him in the beginning that I had reservations about trusting him to repair my 35th Anniversary PRS Custom 24.
Updated review! Xu Strings continues to amaze with outstanding quality of service. The new shop is A+ fantastic. In addition to their superior repair work, they are selling a nice selection of instruments and gear. It's really great to have such a business in our area.
