I went in last week looking to buy an acoustic guitar. I’m in my mid-20s and trying to teach myself in my free time. I didn’t need anything fancy, new or used would be fine, just a basic guitar to start learning with. The first time I went in, there were only two guitars on the wall that sat under $200.
I bought my first guitar from Amory Music 15 years ago, an Alvarez electric guitar, and it's still the best-sounding guitar I own. I've been a customer ever since, preferring this store to any other for my basic musical needs. Jeff Amory is friendly, knowledgeable, and his prices are very reasonable.
I love music stores like this. Very snug, with every corner of the store filled with something that makes sound. Look elsewhere if you're trying to find that Les Paul of your dreams, but absolutely come here for the strings, straps and cables your baby needs. I hope Amory Music sticks around forever.
My son prepared for over a month to audition for District Band.
