This is an incredible family run music store! I personally know each of the teachers here, and they all genuinely care, not only about music, but about people. I grew up watching my mother, Mrs. Terrie, teach music lessons since I was just one year old.
Arbor Music is about 63 miles from my home, but after talking to Casey at the store I felt confident about him installing a K&K electric pickup in my acoustic guitar. Dropped the guitar off this past Tuesday when they opened and went to lunch nearby. Came back later and it was ready to go.
We absolutely love Arbor Music. So thankful to have found it. We take guitar and piano lessons. It is warm and inviting. Everyone is kind. Feels like family. Highly recommend for music lessons or instrument repair
A small, intimate music store. The guitar repair guy was very knowledgeable. They do guitar lessons, which is great for the community. Very nice place!
Selling or trading gear at Arbor Music

First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
