I’ve purchased three guitars from Bryan and had him do work on several of my guitars. My cousin has also purchased probably over 15 guitars from him and had him work on endless guitars for him. Bryan is by far the best guitar tech in Utah. He is the only person I will ever have work in my guitars here.
So glad to have found Bryan at B. Viggy. Over this past year I've taken quite a number of guitars to him to have various things done. Setups have all been done really well; I'm VERY pleased with the latest hollow body Casino he performed a setup on; this guitar sounds and plays extremely well after he worked on it.
I’ve known Bryan for a number of years now and have had business dealings with him ranging from setups, electronics work, and guitar deals. His setups are especially spectacular and always on point, even with particularly stubborn guitars. His prices on services and gear have always been very fair.
Bryan went above and beyond in his work on my PRS, Gibson, and Fender. He was highly recommended to me and after several projects he has exceeded my expectations. The wiring mods have opened a new range of tones that have increased my instruments versatility and made playing them fun and interesting to explore.
Selling or trading gear at B. Viggy Guitars
B. Viggy Guitars comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
