From the reviews
Amazing experience! I can see that they train their staff to be extra courteous and take care of customer. They even ask for feedback on The phone experience which shows that they care. You don't expect that from a pawn shop, but this place is different. Sarah was super nice and very helpful. .
I had a great experience here! Sarah was very helpful. The staff was patient and kind. The store was clean and tidy. I’ll definitely be coming back again.
This here is a photograph of my three favorite girls. Starting from the left is Mongoose then Merrilee and Lassie on the far right is Heather. I made the mistake of not paying interest for a couple of months on heather and I only pawned her for $100.
Best Pawn shop in the valley, hands down a million percent!!! There’ve got everything and then some. Huge selection of tools, jewelry, guitars, coins, knives, firearms and oh so much more!!! You gotta check them out for sure.
Selling or trading gear at Big Dog Pawn & Jewelry
Big Dog Pawn & Jewelry comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
