Kyle was recommended to me separately by two different, high-level players. They definitely knew what they were talking about. I took my mandolin in for new strings and tune-up. Kyle immediately noticed that the action was too high at the nut. When my mandolin came back, what a difference! So much easier to play.
Campbell's Music Room Guitars has been a "go-to" for all of this century and part of the last. Knowledgable, competent, and accomplished and available to meet the needs of professionals and hobbiests alike. Prices are friendly and the gear is liable to follow you home. Great place, ill be honest when it comes to setups im a little annoying and difficult and have an unrealistic idea of what a 5 string bass with fat strings can handle in a drop tuning but, Kyle was able to get my bass perfect, low action for the string Guage, great intonation for being in drop tuning.
Great selection of quality vintage guitars. I was in the market for a Martin and they had several nice examples. Kyle was helpful, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions over the course of my three visits to the store. I ended up with a beautiful D-28 that I intend to cherish for decades to come.
