I cannot recommend Chattanooga Guitar Works highly enough. I have a guitar that is not a very expensive guitar but is very important to me. It was in bad shape and needed some work, and one local luthier told me it was basically firewood. Lee at Chattanooga Guitar Works had a totally different attitude about it.
Lee completely revived both my Fender Stratocaster and Les Paul. Both guitars badly needed fret work done; one needing a polish and the other needed the frets completely redone. Lee also retouched the electronics, did the input jacks, did a PROPER setup (not just lowering the action).
Lee is great guy and tackles any challenge I throw at him with excellence. He has done a fretless conversion, neck reshaping, setups, and more for me and I’ve always been happy with the results.
Lee is quite busy, justifiably so- and is a miracle worker on anything from guitars, bass etc to other music related gear such as amps. Also from a glance around his shop I'd guess he does work on drums but I didn't ask.
