They are great here, very knowledgeable. I always come here first before other stores. They have no tax weekends and always throw in extras with your purchases. The prices are very reasonable and they also have clearance items. You can find almost any instrument here for sale at some point, as well as music books.
So after a rough morning, I walked into Dan's Guitars to browse around and try to unwind. For a small town guitar store the inventory was quite impressive. You almost cant even walk around in the store without bumping into a equipment.
Went in just to talk about a guitar for my 17 year old. Laura was very helpful and professional. I have been to a half dozen of other guitar stores from Beaumont to Houston, and none of them compare to the small town personal customer service like Dan's.
We took my 16 yr old in to upgrade on guitars. Dan spent easily an hour with us so he could go through and try different guitars, play them, learn a little about each one before he made his choice. Large variety, great prices.
