All-time favorite music store in Los Angeles. Great gear, friendly staff, and family run. I’ve been going to them for my music needs for over 10 years and they are just amazing. Strong teaching program right there at the shop; teachers are good musicians themselves with a passion for playing.
There are few places that carry the heart and soul of a community quite like Dietz Bros. Since 1979, this family-owned music store has been more than just a place to buy instruments — it’s been a gathering space for musicians, students, and music lovers of all ages.
Dietz Bros has become more than an instrument shop or a music school for our family. Our kids first started taking lessons virtually during the pandemic. I was amazed at how the teachers were able to engage our kids (4 and 6 at the time) virtually and already begin feeding a love for music.
Amazing school, you cannot go wrong. My son has been taking uke, guitar and keyboard lessons with them since 2020. Every teacher is incredibly caring, meets the kids where they want to be, so supportive.
