I had a flying v with some wing damage. Not only was the paint scraped, but a chunk of the wood was gone. K Robin's crew fixed it PERFECTLY. I would never know there had been previous damage. They also were courteous, easy to work with, and didn't charge me through the nose. Great experience, and great luthiers.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I brought a high-end guitar I built by hand to Kris as I hit a complex string buzzing issue on one of the strings that I couldn't figure out how to fix.
I brought in my new Strat for a setup and a 1965 economy acoustic for new strings. I'm picky as hell and Kris did an outstanding job. Great communication too. Both guitars are exactly how I wanted them. :-) The Strat being brand new unfortunately came with the pickup selector bent with no knob.
Fantastic shop and guitar person! I’ve brought three guitars here over the years, and Kris has always done amazing work promptly on them. I highly recommend him. He’s super skilled, wait times are short, and his prices are reasonable. As long as I live in Rochester he’ll be my guitar person.
