Kirk did a great job setting up all three of my guitars - a Tele, and PRS style, and my Seagull acoustic. They came back more playable than before and with PERFECT intonation up the neck. Not only are his rates reasonable, but he works quickly - I had them all back in 24 hours.
I brought two guitars in for service, my DIY creation and a 90's Les Paul. Kirkasaurus went beyond my expectations and I was extremely happy with the service, attitude and cost. I will go nowhere else again. Next up is my 35 year old 12 string Alvarez and a bass guitar.
I just got my guitar back from Kirk and it plays great! He definitely knows what he is doing and his pricing is extremely reasonable. 5 Stars!
I replaced stock neck and bridge humbuckers on an Ibanez AG85 hollowbody with two DiMarzios at Carter Vintage. They did a terrific job, but it took about month to go through their work queue. After playing it for awhile, I felt the new pickups did not complement this particular instrument.
