I’ve been getting instruments and repair service from Meyer Music for literally my entire life. There has been other competitors in the GR area for some time (I.e. Marshall Music). While it was nice to have a music supplier location closer to my house, you just could never beat the service of Meyer.
I was paying upwards of $90/month for my son's trombone at Quinlan and Fabish. Here at Meyer Music my payments were cut in half, the instrument actually fits my son and it is much nicer. Also I didn't have to rent the stand. The staff is extremely friendly and works with you as far as any concerns and/or questions.
Staff made selecting the perfect instrument for my child simple and fun. Very knowledgeable staff. I’m surprised at how affordable the rental was and impressed that it covers all repairs! We will definitely be using Meyer Music exclusively in the future for our instruments.
We rented a cello from this place. I like that they send representatives to the schools to maintain the instruments. The cello that we received was beat up before we received it. It's very obvious that it has been extensively repaired. I don't agree with the $2,175 price tag for a kinda ugly cello.
