A little over 10 years ago, my wife had surprised me with my dream guitar... a Martin HD-28. She had purchased it online, sight unseen, something I'd never dream of doing myself. I've always tried out every guitar I've ever bought, and might go through 5 or 6 until I found the right one.
I recently bought a vintage (and beat to death) acoustic guitar that needed fret leveling, a new saddle, and nut work. The frets were dented and barely existent; the saddle was shimmed and leaning, and the grooves in the nut were far too deep.
Alex is the man! I took my '78 Ibanez Musician into Alex to be set up and was blown away by the quality of his work. When I first got the guitar back, I could not put it down for hours.
Alex is a pro. If you have any guitar problems he will take care of you. His prices are reasonable and his work is done with a personal touch. He strives to make sure you're completely satisfied. He brought my father's 73 year old Gibson acoustic back from the brink.
