These guys are absolutely a highlight of the City Of Richmond. Friendly, helpful, honest, talented, you name a positive quality, they're it! If you make only one stop within 75 miles of Richmond, this ought to be your stop. Musical instruments, accessories, lessons, repairs, they'll take great care of you!
Russell was great. He changed the strings on my violin in a very timely manner. He's very knowledgeable, kind, and shared a wealth of knowledge with my son and myself. We signed up for a free lesson, and I expect to sign up for 4 or more when we take his first lesson this coming Wednesday.
The staff was informative and friendly. They actually explained things in terms that I understood.
I brought them a very vintage and slightly broken mandolin that I had bought for cheap. Brandon was able to custom tune it so that it was still playable and replaced the fretboard for me. Russell was very knowledgeable and kind. They both are genuinely invested and passionate about music and what they do.
