What's on the wall
“A band teacher friend recommended Music Land for instrument repairs, so that's where I took my old clarinet for a tune up after it had sat unused in its case for years.”
“Not only do they carry the most beautiful guitars but they also offer private lessons and REPAIR instruments !”
“I first came to Music Land 10 years ago to get reeds for my grandson’s saxophone from Joe.”
Brands they deal
“In the end, I walked out with a PRS S2 Custom 24-08 in Lake Blue--my first electric guitar, and an absolutely stunning one at that.”
What players say again and again
“A patient teacher who is a book of knowledge, extending from theory to technique and the science of sound and music and beyond.”
“They have such knowledgeable, helpful staff.”
“They were incredibly patient with my teenage son when he was selecting a guitar, and they’ve been very encouraging to each of my kids as I’ve shopped with them for various reasons.”
From the reviews
I was unsure for a long time about what kind of guitar to buy. I purchased one on the Internet and when it came time would prove that it was not for me. So I sold that one and began the search for a new one.
I have to say-Music Land is absolutely incredible. I stopped in for the first time in a long while on Thursday, 10/30/25, just to browse and talk with the staff about what might be the best fit for my first guitar. They mentioned a Flash Sale happening on 10/31/25, but unfortunately my card wasn't working at the time.
Love Music Land. They have such knowledgeable, helpful staff. We’ve both purchased and rented instruments from this store and each time the sales staff has been phenomenal.
If you need a guitar fixed, ask for JD. He did an exceptional job on my Parker P-38. He’s my “go to” guy from now on for any guitar repairs/modifications. Very knowledgeable and seems like a really nice guy.
Lessons at Music Land
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Music Land. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
