I called in a panic trying to find someone to repair my daughters’ instrument. Mike answered on a Saturday and told me he would get back with me once he made it home. To my surprise he text me letting me know he could get it in Wednesday morning with a Tuesday night drop off.
They're very knowledgeable! They had reasonable pricing and they offer to pick up and drop off the instrument at your child's school! Definitely a HUGE bonus! The staff is super nice! If it's your first time out there, be aware that it's a small building off to the side of a residential house.
My daughter's clarinet wasn't playing right. At first I took it to another music store, only 3 miles from OBI. They would have charged me a lot for the needed repairs, but recommended a total repad at over double that price. Luckily I took the instrument to OBI.
Olathe Band Instrument has great prices and quick service. They do an outstanding job with repairs and the cost is very reasonable. The staff is professional and helpful with good advice for beginners and advanced players too.
