From the reviews
Scott Tsai (owner of Queens Vintage Guitars) is very nice, knowledgable, passionate and responsive. I was looking for a very specific guitar for some time and Scott was the one who had it in mint condition. Scott answered all my questions with great details.
Great guitar shop! The owner Scott is very professional, answered all my queries promptly, no pressure for sale, and easy to set up time to browse the store. Some really unique guitars in stock too. Highly recommend!
Had a great experience dealing with Scott. He helped me sell a unique 1952 Martin 5-18 and the consignment process was smooth as could be. With vintage guitars it’s always nice to have a liaison with a bigger audience and great reputation. Will continue to do business with Queens Vintage Guitars in the future.
Had a great experience at Queen Vintage! Scott was super attentive and helpful, giving me several different guitars to compare. His selection was top notch and one of the best vintage guitar and amp shops I’ve see in ages! Looking forward to doing business with him again!
Selling or trading gear at Queens Vintage Guitars
Queens Vintage Guitars comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
