From the reviews
I took two guitars into Recycled Rock n Roll. One for a standard setup, the other for a minor electrical repair. Sean greeted me with a warm welcome and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
had to swing by and leave a glowing review for this fantastic guitar repair and vintage shop—it's a hidden gem! A friend recommended it, so I popped in when my E string snapped on my acoustic. I'd been hunting for a reliable spot to get it sorted, and wow, they exceeded expectations.
The owners, Sean and Arica, are the best and their customer service is above reproach!! Their store is vintage and eclectic with one-of-a-kind items you may not be able to pass up!! I spotted a few Christmas presents to buy on my next visit and will be passing the word for themed parties and Halloween ideas.
this is the type of place thatvyou travel to go to. the staff is so friendly which was probably my favorite part. we went to fix a guitar which we thought would take a day or so but it only took 15 minutes. its exciting looking through all the clothes to see what treasures you'll find.
Selling or trading gear at Recycled Rock N Roll
Recycled Rock N Roll comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
