I found this place after a not so great local setup, and I’m really happy with the work George put in. He’s super easy to work with—knowledgeable, honest, genuine, and chill, while still being totally professional.
I took a factory-new, cheaper electric guitar to George/Tonecrafte for an initial setup and am very pleased with the work he did on it. It needed action lowered at the nut, new strings, and adjustments to the truss rod and intonation. The guitar is playing beautifully now.
George is awesome! He made my old classical guitar sing after many years in storage. He stayed in touch through every step of the repair and went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. Trust him over any of the big chains. I thought it needed a bridge repair, but he let me know it wasn't actually necessary.
I’ve taken 2 guitars to George at Tonecrafte and he’s taken great care of them. I first took my telecaster to George for him to install new pick ups and wiring harness, but he also helped diagnose an excessive noise issue and added some shielding to the cavity that helped a ton.
