The best guitar shop in alaska, hands down. The owner is the coolest most friendly dude around. Always happy to answer any and all questions and help out with anything having to do with guitars and equipment. He is very professional and has an extensive knowledge on instruments and equipment.
I'm so grateful that Palmer has a music shop and glad I can buy local! Like others reviewers have said, there is just a great vibe at Wood And Wire when you enter the store. This is truly a great, quality music store, and the owner Todd is just such a very genuine person who is passionate about music.
Todd and his wife, are some of the most down to Earth, wonderful people I have met. He has repaired a couple of my guitars and has done an amazing job. The teachers there are awesome too! My lessons with Aaron really helped to accelerate my solo learning.
Todd did a repair and set up on my Gretsch Country Gentleman. Best set up I’ve ever experienced. Extremely reasonable and amazing service. I have more projects coming up and I know who to call for the work. AAA+++!
